How Ceiling works

Everything the engine does, in the order it happens. Every number on this page comes from the same source the engine reads.

About

Ceiling is a launchpad for pump.fun coins on Solana. Each coin is paired with real assets: tokenized stocks, pre-IPO tokens or leading Solana memecoins. The coin's pump.fun creator fees are claimed by the Ceiling engine, split, and the holder share is spent on those assets and paid to the coin's holders.

Coins trade on pump.fun like any other pump.fun coin. Ceiling adds the pairing, the payouts, and a public record of every transaction on the ledger.

Launching a coin

On the launch page you choose a name, a ticker, an image and optional description and links, then pick the paired assets. You can add a first buy in SOL, which is made for your wallet in the same transaction.

Your wallet signs and sends one plain pump.fun create transaction. Ceiling charges no launch fee; you pay only pump.fun's own costs and the network fee.

Pairing assets

A coin is paired with one or more assets, chosen from three lists: Stocks (tokenized stocks), Pre-IPO (tokens tracking private companies) and Memes (leading Solana memecoins). Tokenized stocks and pre-IPO tokens are issued by xStocks and PreStocks. Each asset's issuer, liquidity and token controls are on the research page.

Every payout round splits the coin's holder share evenly across its paired assets. An asset whose share in a round is worth less than $1 is not bought that round: its share rolls over to the next round, so small coins do not spend their fees on network costs. Pairing is fixed at launch.

Holding a coin gives no ownership of, or rights in, any company or asset it is paired with.

The split

Every claim of a coin's creator fees is split the same way:

ShareSplitWhere it goes
Holders75%Paid in the coin's paired assets
$CEILING buyback and burn15%Sent to the buyback wallet, then bought and burned
Creator10%The wallet that launched the coin, paid with each round

There is no other share. Network fees the engine pays for a coin, for its claims, swaps and payouts, come out of that coin's own fees before the split. Each round's network cost is shown on the ledger.

The engine

Every 5 minutes the engine claims each coin's accumulated creator fees from pump.fun and splits them. The holder share collects in the coin's holder pool, the creator share goes to the wallet that launched the coin with each round, and the buyback share goes to the buyback wallet.

Each claim, swap and payout is a separate on-chain transaction recorded on the ledger with its Solscan link. The engine's health is on the status page.

Payout rounds

When a coin's holder pool reaches 0.1 SOL, the engine runs a payout round. It buys the coin's paired assets in equal parts and sends them to eligible holders, pro rata to their balance of the coin.

Holders receive the assets themselves, into their own wallets. Each round, its assets, the number of holders paid and its transactions are listed on the coin's page and on the ledger.

Minimum holding

To be paid in a round, a holder's position in the coin must be worth at least $10 at the time of the round. Smaller positions are skipped for that round and counted again in the next one.

Paid automatically. Nothing to claim.

Every round pays all holders of the coin who hold at least $10 of it, pro rata, in its paired assets. There is nothing to click, opt in to or claim.

If a holder does not have the token account for a paid asset yet, the engine opens it (an idempotent associated token account) and the account's rent comes out of that coin's holder pot before the split. A holder whose share of an asset would be worth less than that rent is skipped for that asset, and the share rolls over to the next round. Each round's rent is listed on the ledger.

Payouts are plain token transfers, sent in batches. Only people are paid: the pump.fun bonding curve and pool accounts, the burn address, Ceiling's own engine, reward, buyback and holder rewards wallets, and any program-owned account never receive a payout.

Buyback wallet and burns

The 15% buyback share of every coin is sent automatically to one dedicated buyback wallet. Nothing is bought automatically. The team buys $CEILING from that wallet by hand and burns it.

Each burn is recorded with its transaction and verified on chain before it is shown. The wallet address, its balance and every burn are on the ledger.

$CEILING holder rewards

Hold $CEILING. Get the top coins. Get paid in their assets.

$CEILING is itself a pump.fun coin. Its own creator fees are split 85% to a holder rewards wallet and 15% to the buyback wallet.

When the rewards wallet reaches its round threshold (2 SOL by default), it buys the top 5 coins on Ceiling by 24-hour volume, in equal amounts, and sends them to $CEILING holders pro rata.

  • The same rules apply as for any coin: it is paid automatically to every holder with at least $10 of $CEILING. Nothing to claim.
  • Each round is sized so that every holder's share of each coin is worth at least $10, which makes them eligible for that coin's own payouts. Holders whose share would be smaller roll over to the next round.
  • Every round is listed on the ledger.

Clean Launch

Every coin is checked on chain from its first two blocks (the launch block and the one after it). A coin keeps the Clean Launch badge while all of these hold:

  • No dev-funded early buyers. No wallet funded by the launcher bought in the first two blocks.
  • Early buyers hold 15% or less. Everyone who bought in the first two blocks, launcher excluded, holds 15% of supply or less today.
  • No early dev selling. The launcher did not sell or move more than 50% of its buys within the first hour.

Funding is read from each early buyer's own transactions before its first buy: a direct SOL transfer from the launcher counts. Early holdings are re-read every engine run, so a coin whose early buyers sell down below the limit regains the badge. The launcher's first hour is read from its token account's history, sells and transfers out both count. When a check fails, the coin's page shows the reason, plainly. Clean Launch describes how a coin started; it is not a judgement of the coin or a promise about its future.

Trading

While a coin is on its pump.fun bonding curve you can buy and sell it on its page. Once the curve completes, pump.fun moves the coin into a PumpSwap pool; from then on its page links to pump.fun for trading.

Wallet safety

Every transaction Ceiling asks you to sign is one of these, and your wallet shows it before you approve:

  • a plain pump.fun create, buy or sell;
  • a PumpSwap trade;
  • opening token accounts for payouts.

Ceiling never asks you to transfer SOL or tokens to it. If a page asks you to, it is not this site. Supported wallets are Phantom, Solflare and Backpack.
